Accounting / Accounts Payable Administrator

The Accounts Payable and Accounting Specialist must be a self-motivated, organized, and highly detail oriented individual. She/he works in gathering, preparing and recording transactional information that supports the reporting of accurate and timely financial statement to company leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enters accounts payable transactions into accounting software
  • Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and personnel
  • Researches A/P invoice discrepancies and recommends solutions
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Design, propose, and implement process enhancements to improve effectiveness of internal controls and the Accounting department as a whole
  • Maintain company and customer confidentiality at all times
  • Establish and comply with reporting deadlines as outlined by management
  • Contribute to the team and be willing to work cross-functionally with other team members


  • Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting experience;
  • Experience using an automated scanning workflow AP system
  • Familiarity with multi-dimension transaction capture and/or activity coding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel skills required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work with others in a team environment
  • Astute attention to detail and accuracy
